To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Special Katee Bug I was 26 weeks pregnant with twin girls. One night I started having bad pains. By the time I got to the hospital, I was dialated [dilated] seven centimeters. They knocked me out and did an emergency c-section. I woke up the next day and couldn’t remember anything that happened. They flew my twin girls to the NICU at UK hospital in Lexington, KY. They both were there for months. One of them is in great health. The other one, my special Katee has cerebral palsy and holes in her brain. The doctors said that the oxygen came off of her while in the ventilator and was off for 9 minutes, causing the holes in her brain. She is my special girl. She is so beautiful. Always happy, all smiles, and just as cute as a button. She doesn’t talk, walk, feed herself or any of that, but she’s still our special girl! Comments
