To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download itty-bitty ian My son was born 10 weeks early, weighing 3lbs, 3ozs. The day we left the hospital in San Jose the doc told us that he had some bleeding on his brain. At the time I had no idea what it could cause, they only told me that later on in Ian’s life he may have some stiffness in his legs. We followed up with early start for physical therapy Eventually we went back to Good Sam (where Ian was born) where he saw the NICU follow-up specialist. One look and she knew by the pointing of his toes there was something we were not being told. She suggested that he may have CP but we needed a neurologist to get the diagnosis. 1 week later thats exactly what we got. “Ian has spastic diplegia”. It’s our first step into this long rollercoaster. I have no idea what to do now, I’ve read about the surgeries, the botox I just don’t know where to start. I’m looking for some help, I know some of you may have been in the same situation so I’m seeking your guidance. Thank you! Comments
