We were told from the beginning that she was going to have problems. That she was going to be a very special person. At two months old she went for her second shunt, for the first had failed to do the job. At three months of age she was finally allowed to go home. She is now 12 years old and her teenage years aren’t what I that they were going to be for her but we take things and challenges on step at a time. One mile at a time. For my heart is darkened by retinal detachment , but as CP, we take it to one day at a time. She is also blind. But can read up a storm in braille. She will always be a very special person as once told by everyone, and she is. Proud parent Comments
