I had my surgery done on both wrists 9 years ago. It was due to work related stress. I healed fine and have no more pain. I have weakness in my wrists and have a hard time opening a bottle. I can’t carry anything to heavy without losing strength. I can’t write for very long before my wrists are weak. I have began a new job and I use my wrists alot. If I use my wrists too much, I feel an ache and they feel weak. I have heard that carpul tunnel can come back, but I am not sure if that is true or not. I hope not!
