Hello My name is Latoya, and I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme in September 2007. This is a Grade 4 tumor usually found in the brain, but oddly enough it was found in my spine. Being that the spine is such a sensitive area, the pressure from the tumor and swelling paralyzed me from the mid stomach-down. So here I am fighting two battles, but I remain optimistic. I just want to take the time to encourage those not only battling Cancer or a Spinal Cord injury, but all sickness and diseases. My comfort came from a lot of prayer and reading the word. It’s important to keep your Spirits up when going through trails. That’s why I choose to focus on the healing that is manifesting instead of dwelling on what was lost.
