my best friend is dying–

by: nancy on Wed, Sep 19 2007

august 2006 we got the news - hubby has lung cancer He did the rounds of chemo And we waited for the next CAT SCAN which would show where we stood in the fight against this ugly thing. Then he started to fall down. The news was not good, the cancer had spread to his brain (5 tumors spotted) - So, he had 10 rad. treatments and was sent home. We have hospice in two times a week. He is getting weaker, they say not much time left. How will i manage without him?? Yes, we do have God in our lives and in our home, but it hurts so much to see a man, who was once so strong and funny turn into a weak, sad, helpless person. But, he is in a “win-win” situation — either God will heal him OR he will go to heaven –any comments would be greatly welcomed.
