Getting Better and Moving On!!!

I shared my story about my BP back in Sept. 2008 and I must say it’s been a L-O-N-G journey. I had it the first time almost 20 years ago which only lasted 3 months, but this time has been much longer and somewhat painful. I don’t know if it’s because I was young during the first time and now 20 years later the Muscles aren’t as ‘Vibrant’ as they were then, but I am just getting to a GOOD point where I can eat a sandwich without cutting the bread in pieces just to consume it even though it takes a while for me to chew on that side. My mouth is almost back in it’s position with a slight twist, my eye is blinking now but still irrates as now the muscles on that side of my face is jumping like I’m having Muscle Spasms. When I talk to someone it seems as though I’m winking my eye at them because of the movement. My face is still tender some days where I can’t hardly lay on that side.

I just THANK GOD for Me having a SPIRITUAL Foundation because this would drive you NUTS!!! I PRAY that ANYONE who has been through this knows that were are ‘SURVIVORS’ of BP and have a TESTIMONY to share with many. I NEVER went through a PITY PARTY Ritual of it, but it sure has been a CHALLENGE in life. There is ALWAYS someone out there that is in WORSE Physical or Mental shape and can’t Handle the stress from whatever situation they may be in. Even though what we have or had takes a Toll because of the way it makes you Look, Talk, Eat, Drink and whatever else it causes not in our ‘NORM’ way of living, think about the ones who are unable to Get out of bed, Can’t dress themselves, Can’t take a walk and smell the fresh air or ones who are ‘Just Here’ and don’t even know it. I know I have Complained about my BP, but I’m also THANKFUL that I am able to continue Living and can do things on my own. May GOD continue to BLESS each of You with Prayers, Healing, Wisdom, Courage and Strength through your BP ordeal as you enter another Chapter in your lives.
