My mouth felt’weird’.As the day continued I developed a pain in my neck just behind my right ear- something wasn’t right, I knew that much! I went to my GP the next day and he diagnosed Bells Palsy I didn’t hear much of what he said after that and was already crying before I got back to the car. A course of steroids and anti virals later and I can see no improvement. Have had a consultation today for accupuncture, but think I was putting too much hope in it being a ‘quick fix’. Also shocked to find myself crying yet again! I’m a deputy head teacher and love my job, but right now can’t imagine myself in a classroom, a conference room or a staff room.
