To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download my experience with bells palsy My first experience: I awoke one morning, went to wash my face and thought I had had a stroke My medical doctor teated with steroids and it eventually cleared up. My second experience did not respond to medical treatment, including electrical stimulation by the physical therapist and my face was much more drawn than my first experience, plus I had sharp eye pain. I also saw my eye doctor who gave me drops and explained the eye and ear pain. At the time I worked at a hospital and eventually two nurses approached me and said, “your not responding to medical treatment, are you? You need to try accupunture”. They recommended a fifth generation, 40 years experience accupunture doctor. Dr. Ly was a god send. He said if I had come to him earlier it would not take as long to treat and he could have done more for me. No one notices, but I do have some permanent nerve damage. When I’m stress I can feel the symptoms returning and I will schedule a visit with Dr. Ly. My first visits with him he used electrical stimulation, just like the physical therapist used, but his stimulation goes directly to the nerve, not bouncing my facial muscles to get to the nerve. The nurses said they knew a lot of people with permanent back damage that use accupunture rather than drugs. I live in the South and my insurance doesn’t cover these treatments, but the visits are worth the pay. Insurance does cover in some metropolitan areas where there is a larger demand for the practice. Should you have any questions about my accupunture visits, feel free to ask me. The treatments are nothing like being stuck with traditional needles, actually, you can’t feel the needles entering the skin. For me, the visits are like a very relaxing meditation Comments
