I am 24 now and can still feel it under my ear behind my ear lobe right along my jaw bone. It feels swollen. Even though I have had it this long I look way better then when I first got it. I can notice it and feel it when I see myself in a picture my eye looks lazy, when I drink alcohol, and when the weather gets colder. Today is the first day I have ever googled Bell’s Palsy. I was given no treatment ever. The doctor told me it was nerve damage of the 7th cranial nerve and that there was no treatment. So I went home and lived with it. He did say to tape and eye-drop my eye whenever I slept. I had it very bad for around 6 months. Then it just seemed to get better. I could watch movies again without my eye watering badly, drink out of a straw, blink and had 3/4 of my smile back. I have had it for 8 year and would consider it slight now. I just wonder if there is anything I could do or my doctors could give me to make it any better? I should ask next time I go in. Comments
