My ears were clear and looked good. I went out of town for the weekend and ended up in the ER in Paducah, KY on Monday Sept. 15th where I was diagnoised with BP. I saw my PCP again on Thursday the 18th, and he confirmed the BP diagnosis. Apparently the pain in my ears was from the beginning of the inflammation of the nerves. I have total paralysis on the right side of my face and some hearing loss in my right ear. I have found that the eye drops and the eye patch help tremendously, its the speech part that bothers me the most. While my dr. recommended taking a couple of weeks off of work (not an option that I can afford), he did tell me to make sure I rest and get plenty of sleep, which I do try to do. I’m hoping for the quickest recovery possible. I did go to a professional massuse and had a face massage (she researched BP before she did the massage), and it helped alleviate the pain for awhile….. I’m thinking about continuing this “therapy” at least once a week while I’m going through this. Comments
