To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download 4 yrs later It happened in my 7th month of pregnancy. friday morning (feb.2004) i woke up everything seemed fine I got ready for work and went on about my day. around mid afternoon i noticed a tingling sensation on the right side of my face. I asked a coworker if she noticed anything wrong with my face, she said no, so i dismissed it. later that evening while having dinner i was having a little difficulty chewing my food and drinking from a straw so i asked my husband if he noticed anything wrong with my mouth he said no so again i dismissed what I was feeling. the next morning i woke up went to the restroom looked in the mirror and realized that i was unable to blink my right eye or move the right side of my mouth. i ran to my husband very scared and said i think something is wrong. i went to see my doctor she said i had BP. she said there was no cure but she would give me some medicine some sort of steroid and told me that i would hopefully recover. it has been 4 years now and i am able to blink and drink through a straw but i do have a crooked smile my vision is blurred and my eye tears excesivly when i chew i experience cramping twitching and sorness on the right side of my face witch makes it hard at times to carry a coversation or even read a book to my children. i feel like this is as good as it is going to get. is there anyone out there that has had BP longer than i have and has had a full recovery. is ther still hope for me?
