To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Update Well it’s been since July 22, 2008 since I woke up with BP. You can see my story in July’s archive! Anyway, I’m slowly getting better. Can raise my left eyebrow now and my left cheek can raise up a bit now when I smile. Lip is less twisted. What I’ve been doing is chewing LOTS of gum on the effected side and it helped enormously! Also I’ve been massaging BOTH sides of my face after putting a warm compress to the effected side. It is also very important to keep your effected eye moist, throughout the day with Natural Tears (drops) Do NOT use VISINE! It will harm more than help you! I tape my eye shut everynight before bed after putting drops in, so that my eye gets used to the idea of closing again. I use my finger to manually lift and lower my eyelid, 15 reps times 3, per day. At home I stretch both the corners of my lips outward and make myself practice talking normally without the twist and that helped too. Don’t give up hope! And stay away from stress!! Just wanted to share that with some of you who may not be aware of some things you can, should and should not do, to progress. Good luck! Comments
