MY FACE FEELS FUNNY

I THOUGHT I HAD BURNED MY TOUNGE ON TUE EVERYTHING TASTED FUNNY. THEN FRI THE FOURTH OF JULY MY FACE WAS PARALIZED! I HAVE THREE CHILDEREN AND MY HUSBARD WAS IN CANADA ON A FISHING TRIP TILL SAT. MY MOM TOLD MY WHAT SHE THOUGHT . BUT WHEN MY HUSBAND GOT HOME SAT. HE MADE ME GO TO THE E.R. TO MAKE SURE IT WASN’T ANYTHING ELSE. HAD BLOODWORK,AND CT SCAN DONE-NO TUMORS OR BLEEDING. THEY SENT ME TO A NUEROLOGIST FOR AN MRI I ON MON. THEY SAIS I DIDN’T NEED THE MRI AND KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WAS WRONG WITH ME AS SOON AS THEY SAW ME. HE PRESCRIBED TWO THING,I DON’T REMEMBER WHAT THEY ARE. THE PHARMASIST STILL HAS THEM AND I CANT GET THEM TILL TOMARROW. THAT IS IF MY DOC CALLED HIM BACK! YOU SEEE WHATEVER HE PRESCRIBED WAS AN INJECTION AND THE OTHER DOSN’T EXSIST IN THAT DOSE. SO I WAIT YET AN OTHER DAY. THE DOC TOLD ME I WAS STARTING THE MED KIND OG LATE IN THIS ILLNESSES PREGRESSION, HE DIDN’T KNOW IF IT WAS GOING TO WORK. I’VE ONLY HAD THE PARALIZES FOR FOUR DAYS NOW BUT I CAN’T WAIT FOR IT TO GO AWAY! THE DID TELL ME ABOUT THESE GREAT DROPS-LIQUID GEL BY THERA TEARS. ABOUT $10 AT WALMART BUT MY EYE HURT SO BAD I WOULD PAY ANYTHING. THERE GREAT! I START BACK TO SCHOOL-LPN AUG.3OR4 I REALLY DON’T WANT THIS THEN. FROM WHAT I’VE READ THIS IS ALSO TRIGGERED FROM STRESS,WHY DIDN’T THIS HAPPEN WHILE I WAS IN SCHOOL! I’M OFF THIS MONTH OF JULY. GUESS THATS A GOOD THING. I HATE GOING OUT IN PUBLIC AND TRYING TO GIVE SOMEONE MY PHONE NUMBER OVER THE PHONE! I THINK I’M DONE VENTING. THANKS TO ALL THAT HAVE SHARED THEIR STORY,IT DOES HELP!

last thrusday i was out with my family an my left eye began to twitch. i thought it was nothing because i have weak eyes an twitching is sumthin they just do.

July 4th 2007 my husband woke up to no facial movement on his right side of his face, as many due we went to the hospital they diagnoised him with Bell’s Palsy, gave him meds and sent us home.

My husband and I were out picking wild blueberries, I ate one, walked back to the cabin and thought there must have been a bug on the blueberrie and it bit me, the inside of my mouth felt numb.
