To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Bell’s Recovery Hi Everyone, I got BP on Saturday March 15th- I am on my third trimester of pregnancy with twins and the doctors said that it could be related. Regardless, they gave me the antiviral and steroids, which I took religiously- they also said there is no proof that it works- which lead me to do my own research and open my mind to any possible different treatment. So, after speaking to soooo many different people here is what I did. By the way, I was diagnosed with moderate to severe- I was not able to open, close my eye, eat, smile and often people did not understand me becauase I could not pronounce properly. My son would look at me concerned as he is little and does not understand what was happening. This brought me to tears many times. It also broke my heart to think that the pictures with my twin girls (scheudeduled to have a c-section next week) would be horrific. My family was supportive but people would stare at me in public. I never realized how precious my smile was until this happened. So, here is everything I did. - accupuncutre 3 times a week( I started right away) make sure you go to someone who has treated it before - hot massages on the face with ginger - glyco thimoline( yes, itis a mouth wash-) spread it to the infected area as much as possible - I did not get a one eye patch, because I did not want to rely on it. - Eye exercises- pratciced closing my eye without my hand- at first I could not even make it to half way shut. Now 12 days later I can blink, just not yet perfectly synchronized with the other one. - stand in front of the mirror making lots of different facial expressions… anything to get the muscle going… My sister-in-law had it and she told me to do this. - drink everything from a straw- even if it spills, because it forces the muscles to work - I also said a lot of affirmations on my head about being healed and feeling grateful (this was hard, because I was assuring something that I did not feel originally, but eventually I did- I guess after so many repetitions) Today is my 12th day, and I saw my doctor, who said that I am 95% healed and it was a very fast recovery. I was willing to do and try anything. Good luck. Comments
