To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Bell’s Palsy I’m Esther - a 67 year old female with BP. I came down with this on December 23, 2007 after some strange sharp pains below my right earlobe and jawbone on December 22. I knew it what was happening because I got it 43 years ago after the birth of my first child. Both my parents, one brother and my sister each had it at least once during their lives. Is this a family weakness? I am presently on steroids, anti-viral drugs and getting acupuncture I will also be getting Electrical stim to the right affected side. I am devastated and seem to vacilate between being hyper and very depressed. It’s a bad case but I am being optimistic. I also underwent several medical situations during the three week period before this happened. Maybe the stress got me. The pulling is difficult but I am happy to say it’s Bell’s Palsy and not a life threatening affliction. Comments
