What a Surprise

On Nov 3, I got a stabbing pain in my left ear and in my left neck. It was really intense and worried me. I thought I had slept wrong. The pain kept coming and going, sometimes in my jaw, very intense. I kept waiting for it to get better. Aceitomenifen and ibuprofen did not relieve the pain. On Thursday, my left eye started stinging, I didn’t know why. On Friday, I still had the intense pain in my ear, neck, and stinging in my eye. Looking in the mirror, I realized that my eye did not blink. Then my left face became paralyzed and I could not speak clearly.

I went to the ER Sat morning, afraid that something really bad was happening to me. They diagnosed me with BP and prescribed acyclovir and prednisone. No improvement yet, MD said BP may last 6 wk to 6 mo. I am ajusting to speaking, drinking and eating now. This is nothing to be depressed over! It happens and you can deal with it. I wil let you know how long it takes me to recover. Remember this is NOT life threatening, but it can be life altering by reminding us to be grateful for our health and take care of ourselves. In a short time it is behind us.
