I recently suffered from emphasema in the lungs and have been for around six months and have been left on tablets for a long time. 3 weeks ago i started getting light sensitive headaches, especially when looking at my pc, my wife and i ignored them as we thought it was just a side effect to my tablets, 1 week ago the headaches became unbariable and very scary…. I attended my doctor who asked me to whistle which i thought odd because i can do it perfectly (well out of tune!) but i couldnt whistle anymore, also the side of my face has drooped by around 2cm and i am totally num on the left side. Well i got sent for a CT scan which was clear from tumas or anything, and im now in week two, of taking 20mg per day of Cortancyl (prednisone). The headaches are still severe to the point of crying. I cant eat very well as it causes severe pain which causes me to feel sick. My eyesite has become very blurry to the point im finding my job hard. When i get tired i cant help drooling a bit due to an involuntary tick at the bottom of the mouth. I am constantly suffering tiredness every day the headache gets intense around 13:00 and i need to sleep, which im finding im sleeping till 19:00 in the evening then again for the night at around 21:00, normally i need very little sleep. This Bells palsy is scaring my wife a bit and making me quite depressed as i have children who i love but there noise is driving me mad and its not fair on them. I hope this clears soon before it costs me my job, which will affect my whole life and family. Is there nothing i can take for the pain? Comments
