It started after a “viral infection”

by: E>M> on Sat, Jul 28 2007

My 16 yr old son had a viral infection which consisted of a high fever and severe headache for 6 days. After visiting the doctor and the Er ultimately, it passed. We went on vacation 6 days later and noticed he had “sun poisoning”. Well it progressed and a week after we got home his face on the left was numb. Into the Er we went and were diagnosed with “Bells Palsey [Bell’s Palsy]”! During vacation my son wrestled and we thought he hurt his neck perhaps with a friend who was a bit out of control, but after the Er visit the doctor assured us he felt it was from the “virus” 3 1/2 weeks ago! I will post more as the days progress!
