On may 25/06 i had a dentist remove a black filling to replace it with a white filling in my left upper incisor. This tooth had been previously root canaled. The dentist injected the area with a painkiller — the pain was pure dynamite. This was unlike any injection experienced before. That night i noticed that the freezing did not seem to be abating — water poured out of my mouth when i tried to drink I went through many tests, a ct scan and neurology test. I was told that within a year i should be ok again. I am 58 and in reasonable health — there is no viral connection and i truly believe this was caused either by the injection or the trauma of having the tooth filling removed and then replaced. Dentists do get away with this sort of thing! Comments
