facial exercises?

One night i went to bed and couldn’t sleep because my neck hurt and i couldn’t get comfortable. The next day i was fine except i had a headache, i thought nothing of it because i get high blood pressure and migraines. By 10:30 that night my eye started twitching then i couldn’t close it, i woke my husband and as soon as he woke up the whole right side of my face became paralyzed.
We went to the ER because i thought i was having a stroke, my mom died of stroke 2 yrs. ago and I have the high blood pressure They did a CT scan, EKG and blood work. They never really told me what caused this but they gave me steroids and anti-viral meds.
No one ever told me about facial exercises. I know this isn’t a real serious condition but it scares me to death. I have pain in my face, headaches, and fatigue. If someone would respond and tell me about the exercises that would be great. I know its just cosmetic, but i really don’t want my face to stay this way.

did you get information from anyone about the facial exercises? My mom has it and an old friend said that a facial massage was the key. I was unsure...Read

I am 73 years old and 2-12 years ago I had a left earache and the next morning my eye would not close and my face dropped. My doctor sent me to the emergency room for tests to be sure it wasn’t a stroke and was, in fact, Bell’s Palsy.

i just had a baby by c section and after i had fever, blood infection. i stayed in hospital for 7 day. when i came home i got headache, dry cough and a very bad neck pain. i had pins and needles on my right hand when i was pregnant, but it got worse.
