To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Bell’s Palsy at 30 yrs old It all started with my left eye watering all the time and never my right. I went to three different doctor’s one gave me a lubricate for conjunctivitis, another said clogged tear duct, and the last one gave me allergy drops. None of these things stopped my eye from watering. I went swimming at my mom’s house and when I got home my left side of my neck was hurting. I thought I was getting a earache from swimming, so I took an aspirin and went to bed. The next morning I woke up with no taste and by noon I noticed my left cheek did not touch my glasses rim like my right side. I did not realize what was happening until the next morning when my whole left side of my face was not working. I thought I had a stroke in my sleep. I went to my doctor and she told me I have bell’s palsy. She gave me prednisone and a eye lubricate. It has been 5 days now. I really hope this goes away soon. I think I feel my left side getting little pains in it (like spasms) maybe that is the feelings coming back. I would like to know if anyone has had excessive sweating with the medicine prednisone? I have been sweating a lot while I’m sleeping with the air condition on. I wish I knew more about bell’s palsy and the medicine. Comments
