To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Dealing with Bells Palsy I remember first getting BP. Like others here, I also thought i had a stroke the left side of my face was drooped and I was scared. I never heard of BP until I reluctantly went to my doctor who told me about BP and prescribed Acyclovir. After taking it for a few weeks, my face began to come back to normal. Recently, I had a second bout with the BP while watching a basketball game my ears ere ringing and my wife said that i began slurring my speech. i did not notice until my face was afffected again! I returned to another doctor who wanted to do a brain scan. I refused and went to my primary doctor who asked if I stopped taking the meds which I admitted not taking. Once I began adhering to the meds my condition subsided. I hope this story will help someone. God Bless and Stay Strong. Comments
