Low back Pain

by: Nirmal on Mon, Jan 28 2008

I fell down somedays back. Nothing happened immediately. Next day I went for a picnic. Two hours drive to the destination and two hours back. I returnrd in the evening. I was OK. Next day morning I couldnt get up. I felt Excruciating pain in the lower part of my back. Some days passed and during the period i used pain killers soothing creams wich gave temporary relief. I then consulted an orthopaedic surgeon and he dignosed the condition as osteoporosis and comprssion of the vertebral bodies in the thoracolumbar region. He prescrbed a chest Pad and calcium supplements and pain killers. The pain is still there on getting up in the morning and while lying down. It seems I have to live with it.
