i didnt know. im now 16 and coping everyday with such a serious disorder that i wasn’t even aware i had, it wasn’t until a best friend of mine, Haley, discovered i had autism by watching me and realizing how socially awkward i really was. signs have been present my whole life. my parents have just never known, they still dont know because i am in such denial. but i am very autistic indeed. i like to be alone, i dont enjoy cuddling, and i respond awkwardly to social ques as well as in social situations. but its ok i have a very dear friend whos helping me more and more everyday.
