15 year old Autistic boy

A friend of mine has an autistic boy he’s tall and weighs over 200lbs’s what concerns me is he’s been on meds for the last 5 -7 years, his mother got into a financial bind and had to quit giving him his dose of prozac and resperdal i believe the resperdal is to help him sleep im not sure. However since it’s almost 4 months without meds my question is wouldn’t this boy be suffering withdrawals or being cut off cold turkey cause permanent damage? what about the parent getting in trouble for doing this to him ? i’m anxious and frustrated wish i could do something.

    I know that my son had been disgarded with ADD and ADHD in the past. Before school he had a resource teacher for the first year. My son had a test done and the test resulted in that at the age 5 he was thinking like a 3 year old boy. [more..]
