Hello everyone. My name is Amy, and I am a preschool teacher. I have a 3 year old boy in my class, that has some of the symptoms of Autism but his mom thinks he is normal. I would like some advice on what I should do.

I am apparently a very high functioning person with Asperger’s syndrome. This diagnosis was made 4 mos ago and explains about 99% of the difficulty that I have had in life. Because I cannot read other people’s minds I offend them unintentionally which leads to unearned retaliation and progressive social isolation.

My sister’s daughter aged 3 yrs has delayed speech development, very limited vocabulary & limited sustainable eye contact, she is hyperactive; but likes to interact & play with others, follows some of the commands, shows attachment with near ones.

I have a 8yr. old daughter who tried Resperdial for her behavior. At first it work very well. I had thought wow this is perfect she’s back. She can talk and understand and her sleeping habits are fine but she would flap her hands when alone or self talk
