My friend’s son is getting speech & occupational therapy due to some speech delays that the pediatrician noticed about a yr ago. One of her therapists mentioned autism to her & my girlfriend freaked out. I see every classic symptom in him.

My friend is on a wait list to see a special dr. about his delay, but is there an easy way to let her know that he may have autism? Is this not my place? I try & talk about it but she just changes the subject.

    I would consider how close you are with this friend. You need to realize that a lot of people would be in denial about it at first. I think the sooner...Read

    my son is 4 years old and he is does not talk at all. the only thing that he does is making sqicky sounds (singing weird song). he is so hyperactive, he does not like to play with toys and he is on respiradal medicine to calm him. [more..]
