One does not need to be a rocket scientist to learn about themselves. For many years now I have been trying to find a doctor who would care about what I was experiencing-one who wouldn’t first resort to medicine to control my symptoms.

I have all the symptoms of asperger syndrome, yet doctors, who are very unlearned about this subject, just say-you’re depressed, take this medicine or talk with a mental health specialist. I am 56 years old and I do not need one. I do, however, need to be professionally diagnosed for the sake of other family members who have the same thing. I need to know who to go to. I need to be understood.
