Familial cases

My family has suffered multiple cases of this dreaded disease. I have had two brothers, my only sister and the oldest son (nephew) of the family. The first case was the typical ALS symptoms of the paralysis of body before attacking the organs. The other three cases were of the Bulbar form of ALS It has made the family paranoid to any kind of symptom related to this terrible disease. Including myself.

    my older brother died when I was 13. he wasnt diagnosed with ALS until the last few months of his life. it took him in 6 months. my mother was diagnosed with a form of als 8 years ago and had 2 cancerous tumors. [more..]
