For years my uncle Gary was misdiagnosed and he just found out recently that he has ALS It is already in the advanced stages. My uncle was sent from the heavens above to bring joy, laughter, and to make a gloomy day into a bright, sunny day. I just want to let my uncle know that I love him very much and it will be hard to to say goodbye. Just saying your name brings peace to my ever so breaking heart. I love you Uncle Gary, always and forever. Your niece, Shannon

    I was 16 when I found out my grandmother had ALS. It was hard for me because she has always been the one I would go to to talk to. The doctors said that she would not last no longer then 3 months after she found out she had it. [more..]
