There are worse things…

by: Heidi on Mon, Jun 04 2007

I have ALS. I tell family and friends, there are people who died today, who never saw it coming. Maybe they had a car wreck or were a victim of a sudden fatal accident. They didn’t have a chance to tell their family and friends that they loved them…I do. I have the next year or two to do just that. Dying is merely a transition to a better place. Some people have illnesses that cause unbearable pain…I don’t.

I wear a bracelet that is insribed with the following statement…”Nothing is worth more than this day.”

Death ends a life, not a relationship.

ENJOY life!!!
